Atlus has released a brand-new character showcase for Persona 4 Revival, putting fan-favorite idol Rise Kujikawa back in the spotlight. The latest trailer highlights her updated support abilities, refined animations, and several new gameplay mechanics that significantly expand her role in battle. While Rise remains the Investigation Team's dedicated navigator rather than a frontline fighter, Persona 4 Revival introduces fresh ways for her to influence combat and help teammates survive increasingly difficult encounters.

As in the original game, Rise's Persona Himiko specializes in providing tactical support instead of direct attacks. However, the remake enhances her toolkit with faster buffs, improved party-wide recovery effects, stronger enemy analysis, and additional passive abilities that activate automatically during battle. Atlus has also redesigned many of her support animations, making them more dynamic while preserving the energetic personality that made Rise one of the series' most beloved characters.

Outside of combat, the new footage showcases Rise's fully remade character model, updated facial expressions, and modernized cutscenes built from the ground up for the remake. Atlus has refreshed her iconic idol outfits while maintaining the original design that longtime fans remember from Persona 4 Golden. The trailer also offers brief glimpses of newly enhanced dialogue scenes and social interactions, reflecting the remake's upgraded presentation and voice performances.

Scheduled to launch on February 18, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, Persona 4 Revival aims to modernize one of Atlus' most celebrated RPGs with rebuilt visuals, expanded gameplay systems, and quality-of-life improvements inspired by Persona 5 Royal and Persona 3 Reload. With each new character reveal, Atlus continues to demonstrate that the remake is more than a visual upgrade, giving returning heroes like Rise Kujikawa meaningful gameplay improvements while staying faithful to the charm of the original adventure.
