Good Smile Company has officially announced Hatsune Miku: Starry Party, a brand-new party action game starring the world-famous virtual singer Hatsune Miku and her fellow Piapro Characters. Revealed during Anime Expo 2026, the game is scheduled to launch in 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam, with support for English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese.

Unlike the long-running Project DIVA rhythm series, Starry Party is being positioned as a multiplayer party game. Although gameplay details remain limited, the debut teaser confirms a colorful, Nendoroid-inspired art style featuring chibi versions of Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO. Early information suggests the game will focus on lighthearted multiplayer challenges rather than traditional rhythm gameplay.

The announcement trailer offers only a brief glimpse of the project, leaving many aspects of the gameplay a mystery. However, the presentation emphasizes a cheerful party atmosphere and confirms that Good Smile Company is both developing and publishing the title. The teaser is accompanied by the Vocaloid song "StargazeR", giving fans an early taste of the game's musical identity while teasing more information to come.

Hatsune Miku: Starry Party marks one of the franchise's biggest departures in years, expanding beyond rhythm games into the party-action genre. While Good Smile Company has yet to reveal a release date, gameplay footage, or additional modes, the announcement has already generated excitement among Vocaloid fans eager to see a fresh take on the iconic virtual singer. More details are expected to be shared as development continues toward the game's 2027 release.
