AYANEO has confirmed that its flagship NEXT 2 Windows gaming handheld will begin global shipments in late July, marking the worldwide debut of one of the most powerful portable gaming systems ever created. During the company's latest product presentation, CEO Arthur Zhang showcased retail-ready units and announced that international orders would start shipping by the end of the month.

Powered by AMD's Ryzen AI Max platform, the AYANEO NEXT 2 is designed to deliver desktop-class gaming performance in a handheld form factor. The premium lineup includes configurations with the Ryzen AI Max 385 and the flagship Ryzen AI Max+ 395, paired with up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 2 TB of SSD storage. The device also features a 9.06-inch OLED display with a 2400×1504 resolution and refresh rates of up to 165 Hz, making it one of the most advanced handheld gaming displays currently available.

Pricing reflects the system's enthusiast focus. The entry-level configuration starts at $2,999, while the flagship model equipped with the Ryzen AI Max+ 395, 128 GB of RAM, and 2 TB SSD carries a price tag of $5,299. AYANEO explained that rising global memory costs have significantly increased manufacturing expenses, forcing the company to revise pricing and temporarily limit availability of certain configurations.
