Sudden Attack: Zero Point Begins Final Closed Beta Ahead of Full Launch
Nexon has announced that Sudden Attack: Zero Point, the modern revival of the long-running tactical shooter franchise, will soon enter its final closed beta test. Running from July 9 to July 13, the test represents the largest pre-release trial yet and will introduce dedicated North American servers, expanded gameplay content, and numerous improvements based on feedback from previous testing phases.

Unlike earlier invitation-only tests, the final beta will be widely accessible. Eligible players who request access through the game's Steam page will be granted entry, allowing Nexon to gather large-scale feedback before launch. The studio says this phase is focused on stress-testing online infrastructure while evaluating gameplay balance and server performance under real-world conditions.
The beta includes a substantial amount of content, featuring 13 primary weapons, 4 secondary weapons, over 200 exclusive weapon parts, 36 shared attachments, and 10 playable characters with distinct characteristics. Players will also be able to experience multiple game modes, including Bomb Defusal, Team Deathmatch, practice missions, and bot matches across several maps designed for close-quarters tactical combat. Weapon customization and the game's player-driven Black Market trading system will also be available during the test.
Originally announced as a full-scale modernization of the classic Sudden Attack, Sudden Attack: Zero Point combines fast-paced tactical firefights with modern visuals, extensive weapon customization, and competitive multiplayer features. While the game does not yet have a final release date, Nexon describes this closed beta as the final major milestone before launch, giving players their best opportunity to experience the shooter and provide feedback that will help shape its official release.
