Atlus Spotlights Fan-Favorite Rise Kujikawa in New Persona 4 Revival Character Trailer

Atlus has released a brand-new character trailer for Persona 4 Revival, putting the spotlight on one of the series' most beloved heroines, Rise Kujikawa. Unveiled during Anime Expo 2026, the trailer showcases the pop idol's updated appearance, refreshed animations, and several memorable story moments, while also introducing her new English voice actress, Abby Trott.

The trailer follows Rise as she returns to the rural town of Inaba after stepping away from her career as a teen idol. Players once again see her joining the Investigation Team, where she serves as the group's navigator, providing battlefield support rather than fighting directly. The footage also highlights her cheerful personality, playful interactions with the protagonist, and several iconic scenes recreated with modern visuals and improved character animations.

Beyond showcasing Rise herself, the trailer offers another look at Persona 4 Revival's visual upgrades. Character models, facial expressions, lighting, and cinematic presentation have all been significantly enhanced compared to the original game. Atlus recently confirmed that MAPPA is producing all of the remake's animated cutscenes, giving the RPG a much more cinematic presentation while preserving the spirit of the original story.

Persona 4 Revival is scheduled to launch on February 18, 2027, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with day-one Xbox Game Pass support already confirmed. Rise's trailer is the latest in a series of character showcases leading up to release, and Atlus is expected to reveal additional members of the Investigation Team in the coming months as anticipation for the remake continues to build.
