Rayman Legends Retold Collector’s Edition Will Be Available for Just One Day
Ubisoft has announced that the Collector’s Edition of Rayman Legends Retold will be sold through a single-day pre-order event, making it one of the most limited physical releases for the upcoming platformer. The exclusive edition will only be available to purchase during a 24-hour ordering window, after which sales will permanently close. The game itself launches on October 1, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
The Collector’s Edition is aimed at longtime Rayman fans and includes a selection of premium physical collectibles alongside the game. According to Ubisoft, buyers will receive an exclusive Rayman statue, a collector’s art book, a steelbook case, a printed world map, an original soundtrack, and several additional commemorative items created specifically for the anniversary release. Because production numbers will be based on the one-day pre-order period, Ubisoft says no additional stock is planned after the event concludes.
Rayman Legends Retold is a full reimagining of the acclaimed 2013 platformer, featuring enhanced 3D visuals, a brand-new story, fully voiced cinematics, an additional sixth realm, four new musical stages, expanded co-op gameplay, and modernized mechanics while preserving the fast-paced platforming that made the original a classic. The Standard Edition also includes Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition, while the digital Deluxe Edition adds exclusive costumes and bonus content.
By limiting the Collector’s Edition to a single day of availability, Ubisoft is creating one of the rarest Rayman releases to date. The strategy ensures production closely matches demand but also means collectors will have only one opportunity to secure the premium edition before it disappears from sale permanently. With Rayman Legends Retold marking the franchise’s return after years of inactivity, the limited Collector’s Edition is expected to become one of the most sought-after gaming collectibles of 2026.
