Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Expands Its Roster With Blade, Loki, and Deadpool
Arc System Works has officially revealed three new playable fighters for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, adding Blade, Loki, and Deadpool to the highly anticipated tag-team fighting game. The trio joins the previously announced Ghost Rider to form the fifth and final launch team, known as the Samurai Outriders, unveiled during EVO 2026.

Each of the newly announced characters brings a unique fighting style to the roster. Blade combines lightning-fast sword attacks with firearms and throwing knives, making him a dangerous close- and mid-range fighter. Loki relies on illusions, magical abilities, and his signature trickery to outsmart opponents, while Deadpool delivers his trademark mix of acrobatic combat, gunplay, and fourth-wall-breaking humor. The latest trailer also introduces a brand-new Asgard stage inspired by the legendary Marvel location.
Alongside the character reveal, Arc System Works confirmed that Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls will receive a global open beta on July 24–26 for PlayStation 5 and PC. Players participating in the beta will be able to try Blade for the first time before launch, while additional details about the available roster and game modes will be shared closer to the event.
With the final team now revealed, the game's launch roster is complete, featuring 20 playable Marvel characters divided into five unique factions. Developed by the creators of Guilty Gear and Dragon Ball FighterZ, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls aims to deliver fast-paced 4v4 tag battles, anime-inspired visuals, and competitive gameplay designed for both casual players and esports fans. The game is scheduled to launch on August 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC, making it one of the year's biggest fighting game releases.
