Where Winds Meet Showcases Stunning Hidden Mountain Expansion in New Gameplay Trailer
Everstone Studio has released an impressive new gameplay trailer for Where Winds Meet: Hidden Mountain, offering players their best look yet at the upcoming expansion. The footage highlights breathtaking mountain landscapes, fast-paced martial arts combat, and several new exploration mechanics that will arrive with the game's massive Version 2.0 update. Hidden Mountain launches as a free expansion on July 23, introducing one of the biggest additions to the open-world RPG since its release.

The trailer reveals an entirely new mountainous region built around vertical exploration. Players will travel through mist-covered peaks, underground palaces, floating cities, and hidden caves while uncovering the secrets of the mysterious Mohist Sect. The update also introduces an "Eastern steampunk" aesthetic, blending ancient Chinese architecture with elaborate mechanical creations that play a key role in exploration and puzzle-solving.
Beyond its spectacular scenery, Hidden Mountain adds a variety of new gameplay features. Players will gain access to the Hand Guard fighting style, battle powerful mechanized bosses, construct unique mechanical vehicles and devices, and continue the game's main storyline through a brand-new campaign. The expansion also includes additional traversal abilities, environmental puzzles, graphical improvements, and numerous quality-of-life updates that accompany the jump to Version 2.0.
The latest trailer demonstrates Everstone Studio's ambition to keep expanding Where Winds Meet with substantial free content rather than small incremental updates. With its dramatic new environments, expanded combat options, and fresh narrative, Hidden Mountain looks set to become the game's most ambitious expansion yet, giving both returning players and newcomers plenty of reasons to explore its vast new world when it arrives later this month.
