Roads & Riches Demo Now Available, Letting Up to Four Players Build a Traveling Merchant Empire

A free demo for Roads & Riches: Traveling Merchant Simulator is now live on Steam, giving players an early look at the upcoming fantasy trading adventure. Developed by Alvios Games, the demo allows solo play or online co-op with up to four players, offering a substantial slice of the full experience ahead of the game's planned 2026 release. Players can already explore the opening region, experiment with trading mechanics, and begin building their own traveling merchant caravan.

In Roads & Riches, players travel across a vibrant fantasy world, buying goods where they're cheap and selling them in regions where demand is high. The demo includes five locations to explore, numerous tradeable items, the first caravan upgrades, character customization, and cooperative gameplay that encourages friends to work together while managing a growing mobile marketplace. Reputation also plays an important role, as satisfied customers unlock new opportunities and rewards.
