Zenless Zone Zero Celebrates Its Second Anniversary With Free S-Rank Agent, New Attribute, and Massive Version 3.1 Update

HoYoverse has officially unveiled Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.1, a major update celebrating the game's second anniversary with a huge wave of new content, gameplay improvements, and generous rewards. Launching on July 29, the update introduces the game's first-ever Lumiflux attribute, expands the main story, adds new permanent content, and gives every player the chance to claim a free limited S-Rank Agent along with a matching exclusive W-Engine. It's one of the biggest updates the action RPG has received since launch.

The headline addition is Remielle Dan, the first Agent to use the new Lumiflux attribute. Her unique combat style allows her elemental damage to change based on the next teammate in the squad, opening up entirely new team-building strategies. Version 3.1 also introduces Sigrid, a powerful Ice Attack S-Rank Agent, continues the main storyline with new missions, and adds the permanent gameplay mode Enigma of the Labyrinth: Operation Bagel, giving players another endgame activity to master.

To mark the anniversary, HoYoverse is offering one of the most generous reward campaigns in the game's history. Players can choose a free limited S-Rank Agent from a special selection, receive the character's exclusive W-Engine, collect 1,600 Polychromes, earn 20 Signal Searches, and unlock several additional login rewards throughout the event. The update also coincides with the launch of Zenless Zone Zero on Xbox PC, further expanding the game's platform support and cross-play ecosystem.

Beyond the new characters and rewards, Version 3.1 includes dozens of quality-of-life improvements, system optimizations, balance adjustments, and seasonal events designed to improve the overall gameplay experience. With a brand-new attribute, major story expansion, permanent game mode, and one of the most valuable anniversary giveaways in any HoYoverse title, Zenless Zone Zero is entering its third year with its most ambitious update yet.
