Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen Gets Major New Details Ahead of Its October Launch

Capcom has revealed a wealth of new information about Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen, giving fans a closer look at the highly anticipated expansion. During the latest Capcom Spotlight presentation, the developer showcased new gameplay systems, story elements, and progression mechanics that will significantly expand the acclaimed action RPG when the DLC launches on October 9, 2026.

One of the expansion's biggest additions is Norgan, a vast frozen region located north of the main game world. Players will explore the harsh wilderness while uncovering the mystery surrounding the fearsome Fallen Dragon, a powerful new enemy that serves as the central threat of the expansion. Along the journey, players will encounter Eir, a mysterious character whose quest is closely tied to the dragon and the secrets hidden within the icy frontier.

Capcom also introduced the new Relic Expedition Cycle, a progression system that rewards exploration. Adventurers will discover ancient relics scattered across Norgan, appraise them, and use their discoveries to forge powerful weapons with unique class-specific abilities. In addition, the expansion adds 12 new challenge dungeons, offering tougher enemies, valuable rewards, and fresh endgame content for experienced players.
