Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart PC Update Adds AMD FSR 3.1.4 and Better DualSense Edge Support
Nixxes Software has released a new update for the PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, introducing support for AMD FSR 3.1.4 alongside several improvements for the DualSense Edge controller. The patch upgrades the game's image upscaling technology by adding compatibility with AMD's machine learning-based FSR Frame Generation on supported Radeon hardware. It also includes bug fixes and controller enhancements aimed at improving the overall gameplay experience.

One of the update's biggest additions is compatibility with ML-based AMD FSR Frame Generation, available on supported Radeon RX 9000 Series graphics cards using the latest drivers. Players who enable AMD FSR 4 through compatible Radeon software will now also see the correct version displayed in the game's graphics menu. In addition, the patch resolves an issue that could cause DLSS Frame Generation to become unavailable after switching between frame generation technologies.
The update also improves support for the DualSense Edge controller, delivering better compatibility with Sony's premium gamepad on PC. While Nixxes has not detailed every controller adjustment, the changes are intended to provide a smoother experience for players using the advanced features of the device. The patch further includes several stability improvements and minor bug fixes based on player feedback.
Although relatively small, the latest update continues Nixxes Software's strong post-launch support for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PC. By enhancing image quality, expanding frame generation options, and refining controller support, the patch helps ensure the game remains one of PlayStation's most polished PC ports.
