PlayStation Is Teasing Major Reveals at San Diego Comic-Con — Here's What Sony Has Planned

PlayStation has unveiled its lineup for San Diego Comic-Con 2026, and fans can expect exclusive panels, developer presentations, and fresh looks at some of Sony's biggest upcoming games. While the company hasn't promised brand-new game announcements, the event will feature major showcases for Marvel's Wolverine, MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, and God of War: Laufey, making it one of PlayStation's biggest public appearances since the summer showcase.

One of the event's biggest attractions will be Marvel's Wolverine, where developers from Insomniac Games will discuss the game's creation, characters, and world-building. Fans attending Comic-Con will also get a closer look at MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, including playable demos, developer panels, and interactive exhibits featuring life-sized statues of Doctor Doom and Storm. Meanwhile, God of War: Laufey will receive its own dedicated presentation, offering new behind-the-scenes insights into the expanding God of War universe.

Beyond the game presentations, PlayStation's Comic-Con booth will host community activities, exclusive merchandise, photo opportunities, and special guest appearances throughout the event. Sony has also confirmed that recordings of the major panels will be published online after the convention, allowing fans who cannot attend in person to watch the presentations later.

Although some players were hoping for surprise announcements, Sony is positioning San Diego Comic-Con 2026 as a celebration of its biggest upcoming PlayStation titles rather than a traditional reveal event. Even without brand-new game announcements, the showcase promises plenty of new details, developer insights, and exclusive content for fans eagerly awaiting PlayStation's next wave of blockbuster releases.
