Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era Hotfix 0.80.34 Fixes Issues Introduced by the Latest Major Update
Developer Unfrozen has released Hotfix 0.80.34 for Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era, addressing several issues reported after the game's latest major patch. Rather than introducing new content, the update focuses on improving stability, correcting gameplay bugs, and refining balance based on community feedback. The developers say the hotfix is intended to resolve the most urgent problems that appeared after the previous large-scale update while ensuring a smoother experience for both single-player and multiplayer matches.

Among the key fixes are corrections to Advanced Battle Magic, which was not functioning as intended, as well as a bug that prevented certain save files from loading correctly. The patch also resolves several incorrect skill and ability descriptions, eliminating inconsistencies that could confuse players during battles. Additional adjustments improve overall game stability and address issues discovered shortly after the previous update went live.
The hotfix follows one of Olden Era's largest balance updates, which introduced extensive changes to heroes, creatures, spells, artifacts, matchmaking, and faction mechanics. Because of the scale of those changes, Unfrozen has continued releasing smaller patches to quickly address unexpected bugs and fine-tune gameplay without waiting for the next major update.
Although Hotfix 0.80.34 is relatively small, it represents another step in Unfrozen's ongoing support for the Early Access strategy game. With rapid post-launch updates and regular community-driven improvements, the studio continues refining Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era as it moves toward its full release.
