Vampires: Bloodlord Rising Finally Delivers the Feature Fans Have Been Waiting For
Vampires: Bloodlord Rising has received one of its biggest Early Access updates, introducing the long-awaited Character Creator that players have been requesting since launch. For the first time, players can create a fully custom vampire instead of using the default protagonist, with dozens of appearance options, unique traits, and separate designs for different forms. The update significantly expands role-playing possibilities and marks a major milestone in the game's ongoing development.

The new Character Creator offers a wide range of customization features. Players can choose between a male or female vampire, select from multiple base templates, fine-tune facial features using more than 30 sliders, and create two separate appearances—one for the elegant Aristocrat form and another for the fearsome Hunter form. The system also includes background and activity traits that influence certain character skills, adding gameplay depth beyond visual customization.
The update goes beyond character creation by introducing several improvements to the game's opening experience. Developers have reworked early quests, expanded story dialogues with key NPCs, added new conversations, improved quest flow, and included additional voice lines for both vampires and inquisitors. Players can even share their custom vampire with others by exporting their character profile, making it easier for the community to exchange creations.
The Character Creator is one of the most requested features since Vampires: Bloodlord Rising entered Early Access, and its arrival gives players far more freedom to shape their own vampire lord. Combined with the expanded story content and gameplay improvements, the latest update represents a major step forward as the developers continue building their ambitious open-world vampire RPG.
