Hot Wheels Infinite Rush Reveals Huge Open World — Four Unique Islands Promise Endless Racing and Hidden Secrets
Milestone has released a brand-new trailer for Hot Wheels Infinite Rush, giving players their best look yet at the game's ambitious open-world structure. For the first time in franchise history, racers will be free to explore four massive toy-sized islands, each featuring its own visual style, racing challenges, hidden collectibles, and unique gameplay activities beyond the iconic orange tracks.

Rather than limiting players to traditional race circuits, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush encourages exploration. Every island offers a distinct atmosphere—from bustling cityscapes and coastal environments to industrial zones and elevated stunt arenas—packed with secret shortcuts, collectible vehicles, side activities, and special events. Players can freely drive across the world, uncover hidden areas, and challenge the local Rush Masters, powerful rivals who dominate each region.
The open world is supported by an impressive collection of more than 150 vehicles, divided into four classes with unique handling characteristics. Alongside classic Hot Wheels originals, players will be able to drive officially licensed supercars, including Ferrari, while customizing vehicles through expanded livery, sticker, and wheel editors. Multiplayer also receives a major upgrade with full cross-play, four-player split-screen, and an enhanced Track Builder that lets players create tracks across buildings, cliffs, and the surrounding environment before sharing them online.
Scheduled to launch on September 24, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2, Hot Wheels Infinite Rush marks the series' biggest evolution yet. By combining open-world exploration, arcade racing, deep customization, and community-created content, Milestone is aiming to transform Hot Wheels from a traditional track racer into a full-scale sandbox racing adventure packed with secrets to discover long after the finish line.
