Halo: Campaign Evolved Reveals Brutal LASO Mode — No Radar, No Aim Assist, and the Ultimate Spartan Challenge

Halo Studios has unveiled the full details of LASO (Legendary All Skulls On) mode in Halo: Campaign Evolved, confirming that the remake will feature the most demanding version of Halo's legendary difficulty yet. Designed for veteran players seeking the ultimate test, LASO combines Legendary difficulty with every gameplay-modifying Skull activated at the same time, creating an unforgiving experience where every encounter becomes a fight for survival.

Among the toughest modifiers are the complete removal of the motion tracker (radar) and the disabling of aim assist, forcing players to rely entirely on awareness, precision, and teamwork. Other active Skulls make enemies more aggressive, strengthen their defenses, reduce available ammunition, and limit health recovery, while additional modifiers alter weapon behavior and introduce unpredictable gameplay twists. Halo Studios confirmed that the final LASO playlist combines the franchise's most iconic Skulls into one extreme challenge.

The developers explained that LASO was created specifically for players who have already mastered Halo's campaign on traditional Legendary difficulty. Completing the mode requires careful resource management, perfect accuracy, deep knowledge of enemy encounters, and close coordination in cooperative play. Halo: Campaign Evolved supports up to four-player online co-op and two-player split-screen on consoles, giving teams the chance to tackle the challenge together.
