Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have officially revealed the first gameplay trailer for Attack on Titan 3, giving fans their most detailed look yet at the next chapter of the acclaimed action series. Alongside the new footage, the developers confirmed that the game will launch this winter for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

The gameplay showcase highlights a major evolution of the franchise's signature Omni-Directional Mobility (ODM) Gear combat. Players will once again soar through the air at high speed while targeting Titans' weak points, but this time with smoother movement, expanded aerial maneuvers, and more aggressive enemy AI. The trailer also introduces battles against the Nine Titans, promising larger-scale encounters and more cinematic action than previous entries in the series.

Beyond combat, Attack on Titan 3 expands the formula with new Exterior Scouting Missions. Players will assemble and command their own Survey Squad, construct supply bases beyond the walls, gather resources, and lead expeditions into Titan-controlled territory. Resource management—including fuel for ODM gear, spare blades, and squad morale—will play a much greater role, adding strategic depth alongside the fast-paced action. To make the experience more accessible, Omega Force has also confirmed the addition of a new Casual Mode for players unfamiliar with the series.

The upcoming title is designed as the complete conclusion to Omega Force's adaptation of Hajime Isayama's legendary manga, covering the story from the earliest days of the Survey Corps all the way through the dramatic finale. The game will also feature brand-new original story content, enhanced character interactions, and an opening animation produced in collaboration with MAPPA. With its upgraded gameplay systems, larger battles, and expanded campaign, Attack on Titan 3 is shaping up to be the most ambitious game in the franchise when it arrives this winter.
