Grinding Gear Games Announces Path of Exile: Curse of the Allflame League, Launching July 24
Grinding Gear Games has officially announced the next major Path of Exile expansion, titled Curse of the Allflame, confirming that the new league will launch on July 24, 2026. Ahead of release, the studio will host a special GGG Live presentation on July 16, where developers will reveal the league's mechanics, challenge system, endgame additions, and gameplay improvements. The announcement was accompanied by the first teaser, hinting at a mysterious force lurking beneath Wraeclast.

The brief teaser offers only a glimpse of the expansion's dark atmosphere, showing fiery corruption spreading through underground ruins while teasing the arrival of the Allflame. As is tradition for Path of Exile league reveals, Grinding Gear Games is keeping most gameplay details secret until the livestream, where the team is expected to showcase the new challenge league, balance changes, skill updates, and fresh endgame content.
The announcement comes as the limited-time Return of the Ancestors event approaches its conclusion. Once the event ends, players will transition into Curse of the Allflame, which serves as Path of Exile's Version 3.29 expansion. Based on the studio's roadmap, the update will launch simultaneously across all supported PC platforms after the reveal presentation, continuing the game's regular seasonal release cycle.
Although Grinding Gear Games has not yet revealed the league's core mechanics, the upcoming GGG Live broadcast is expected to provide a comprehensive overview of everything arriving in Version 3.29, including the new challenge league, rewards, support packs, and gameplay systems. With Curse of the Allflame set to arrive on July 24, Path of Exile players won't have to wait long before discovering what the next chapter of Wraeclast has in store.
