Publisher Nacon and developer ACE Team have released a new trailer for The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, offering another look at the upcoming co-op psychological horror game ahead of its launch. Inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's novella The Mound, the game follows a group of explorers searching for legendary treasure in a mysterious jungle where reality slowly begins to unravel. The latest footage highlights both the game's unsettling atmosphere and its survival-focused gameplay.

The trailer shows players navigating dense forests filled with monstrous creatures while managing limited ammunition and fragile equipment. Rather than encouraging direct combat, The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu rewards teamwork, stealth, and careful decision-making. As the expedition progresses, explorers begin to suffer hallucinations that distort reality, making it difficult to distinguish enemies from allies and creating constant tension throughout each mission.

One of the game's defining mechanics is its sanity system, which gradually corrupts each character's perception of the world.
