Apex Legends Confirms Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Collaboration With New Lunar Teaser

Respawn Entertainment has officially announced a major crossover between Apex Legends and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, teasing the event with a striking promotional image of David Martinez and Lucy standing together on the Moon. Shared by both the official Apex Legends and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners social media accounts, the teaser confirms that one of the battle royale's biggest collaborations to date will begin on July 14.

The crossover event will run from July 14 through August 4 and will transform Apex Legends with a wide range of Cyberpunk-themed content. Players can expect an updated E-District featuring the neon aesthetic of Night City, exclusive Legend and weapon skins inspired by characters from the anime, and the new Mythic Skippy Alternator weapon skin. Respawn has also revealed Cyberware Mods, temporary abilities that introduce mechanics inspired by the Cyberpunk universe, including high-speed dashes and powerful hacking skills.

Although Respawn has only officially teased the collaboration, community speculation has already begun regarding which Legends will receive Edgerunners-inspired cosmetics. Earlier leaks suggested that several iconic characters from the anime could be represented through premium skins, but Respawn has not confirmed the complete cosmetic lineup. For now, the studio is encouraging players to wait for the full event reveal, which will showcase all available rewards and gameplay additions.

The collaboration marks another high-profile crossover for Apex Legends as Respawn continues expanding the game's seasonal events with content from popular entertainment franchises. By bringing the futuristic world of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners into the Outlands, the event promises new cosmetics, gameplay mechanics, and a visually transformed battlefield when it launches on July 14, giving fans of both franchises a unique limited-time experience.
